A 62ac farm near Ennis in Co Clare is for sale by private treaty, guided at €495,000 (€7,975/ac).

The farm at Ballyogan is located between the villages of Barefield and Crusheen, 10 minutes outside Ennis.

It is a non-residential farm with its own entrance off the local road, just three minutes from exits 14 and 15 off the M18 motorway. The land is described as “well fenced with predominantly natural stone walls”.

These have been maintained by the current owner who reclaimed the land over the last 30 years but is now retiring.

The land is currently in grass and is in a limestone area. The property has a mains water connection as well as a cattle crush and loading pen.

The selling agent says that it would be an ideal out farm and has potential as an organic farm.

The sale is being handled by Eoin Dillon of REA Dillon in Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
