Aurivo has followed the lead of its peers and added 0.5p/l to its base price for December.

This puts the co-op on a base of 25.25p/l, which becomes 26.25p/l after adding in an additional 1p/l winter bonus payable in December and January.

Glanbia Cheese has also finalised its December price, with the Magheralin-based company holding on a base of 23.75p/l.

Adding in a 2p/l winter bonus, it is an all-in price of 25.75p/l before adjustments for quality and volume.

With price rises elsewhere, Dale Farm and Glanbia Cheese were the only two buyers to leave prices unchanged for December.

Full milk price analysis will be presented in next week’s milk league.
