Fendt tractors from the 200, 500, 700 and 800 series alongside Fendt mowers, sprayers and balers, will be on display at the National Ploughing Championships next week.

The 200 series varies in rated horsepower from 72hp to 101hp. As standard, these tractors come TIM Guidance-ready, have a superimposed steering system, a reversible fan, a hydraulic flow rate of up to 104l/min and have power beyond (LS Hydraulic) connections.

The 500 series is more of an all-rounder. Starting at 124hp, it ranges up to 163hp. The range is made up of four models. The 500 series is known for its low weight-power ratio. This, combined with its travel speeds of up to 50km/h at a reduced engine speed, makes it a popular choice.

There will be 200, 500, 700 and 800 series Fendt tractors at the Ploughing.

When it comes to Fendt in Ireland, we love our 700 series. Made up of six models, the 700 series has a rated power from 144hp up to 237hp. Sales figures show that the 724 Vario is the go to model in Ireland. It has a power to weight ratio of 33kg/hp. Fuel consumption is where this tractor excels. Based on a DLG test, it burnt 255g/kWh and 13.8g/kWh AdBlue.

The 700 series has a 14t permissible overall weight with a payload of up to 6,200kg. It has a load-sensing pump with 109l/min as standard, and 152l/min or 193l/min optional.

The Fendt range of trailed sprayers continues to thrive in the Irish market. The Rogator 300 Series is set to make an appearance at next week’s event.

The 300 Series is made up of four models with tank capacities from 3,500l to 6,930l. The range has a working width from 24m to 30m.
