Gardaí are investigating the suspected theft of a large amount of livestock from a farm in the Mountnugent area of Co Meath.
Although the exact number of animals involved has not been confirmed, it has been reported that up to 100 sheep may have been stolen.
In a statement to the Irish Farmers Journal, Gardaí said that the suspected theft allegedly occurred between Monday 10 June and Thursday 13 June.
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
