The new Kubota M7003 tractors, building on the current M7002 offerings, are set to arrive in 2020. The range meets the latest Stage V engine emission regulations from the firm’s own 6.1l four pot engine. The three models, 130hp, 150hp and the largest 170hp, all offer max power at 1,900rpm, each with an additional 5hp to 20hp power boost on tap.

Emission regulations are met by the use of EGR, SCR and DPF, with the latter having an extended cleaning interval, an increase of 3,000 hours, to 6,000 hours.

As before, two transmission options are offered on all models – Kubota Variable Transmission (KVT) or an updated Powershift box. The updated Powershift features Xpress restart, essentially a brake-to-stop function. This allows the tractor be stopped without depressing the clutch, instead depressing just the brakes.

Other features include Tractor Implement Management System (TIM), where the implement has the ability to control the tractor’s functions automatically. Greater control over hydraulic valve configuration has been added, as well as the option of automatic air conditioning, extended lighting packages and heated mirrors.
