With Agritechnica approaching, Kverneland unveiled a range of new products at an event in Norway last week. One such addition to its plough offering was a newly developed plough body 38. The new body allows for deeper ploughing for tractors with up to 710mm tyres.

The body 38 features the same shape as body 28, specifically designed for tractors with large tyres. The mouldboard and shin piece are higher than for body 28 in order to allow deeper ploughing.

The 35cm ploughing depth was already achieved with body 9, however body 38 creates a large empty furrow, ideal for wide tyres.

Kverneland claims body 38 enables the same high ploughing performance as body 28 even when ploughing shallow. Body 38 can be ordered from the last term of 2019 for delivery in the second term of 2020.
