Judy – Out now: In a role as far removed from Bridget Jones as you can imagine, Renée Zellweger returns to the silver screen to play Hollywood legend Judy Garland towards the end of her life, when she took on a five-week run of performances in London in the winter of 1968. Irish actress and singer Jessie Buckley also stars in this biopic of what awaited Judy beyond the rainbow. Rating 12A.

Baboró Arts Festival for Children – 14-20 October: Ireland’s flagship festival for children and families returns to Galway from 14-20 October, with a packed programme of 50 events for tots to teens.
