Major will hold an informative evening (4pm-8pm) for farmers and contractor this coming Friday 6 December on site at the factory’s premises located on the Charlestown road, Ballyhaunis, Co Mayo.

On display will be the company’s range of low-emission spreading equipment including the new 7.5m dribble bar as well as trailing shoe units.

Retrofit dribble bar units will also be on display, which are ideally suited to farmers modifying existing tankers to comply with low-emission spreading regulations.

These back door-mounted units are designed to suit any tanker make or model and can be used with the existing splash plate left in place.

Representatives from IFA, Teagasc, Vogelsang Injection Systems as well as personnel from First Citizens Agri Finance will be on site to offer advice and answer any questions. Refreshments will be served on the evening and the Major Stores retail shop will be running promotions over the course of the evening.
