From 400-500kg, store heifers averaged €1.89/kg – boosted by a selection of continentals. Top-quality Angus-cross cattle again made over €2/kg up to €2.10/kg. Continental heifers ranged from €2.07/kg to a top price of €2.47/kg for a Charolais-cross weighing 500kg.

Moving up the weights, 400-500kg bullocks averaged €1.69/kg. Friesians ranged from €1.35/kg to a top of €1.66/kg for a nice pair. Angus and Herefords started at the €1.90/kg mark and the best climbed up to €1.96/kg.
