A 171-acre block of land located at Ballyconlore, Inch, Gorey, Co Wexford, sold for €2.259m at a public auction on 22 August. The land was sold in six separate lots at an average price of €13,210/ac.

The first lot, 39 acres in three inter-connecting fields, sold for €390,000. The land is all in grass and has approximately 800m of road frontage along a local road.

The second lot, a smaller seven-acre parcel that is accessed from a private lane, sold for €122,000. This lot, which includes a ruin, averaged €17,428/ac.

The third lot, 34 acres including some of the best land of the entire, sold for €475,000 (€13,970/ac).

Lot number four, encompassing 27 acres with the period residence sold for €500,000 (€18,520/ac), well over the guide price of €350,000. The largest of the lots on offer, made up of 45 acres split into three fields, sold for €537,000 (€11,854/ac).

The final lot, made up of 18.5 acres with 200m of road frontage, sold for €235,000 (€12,702/ac). Warren Estates were the selling agents.
