Friday is forecast to be another warm day, with some brighter spells and hazy sunshine at times. However, it will be cloudier than in recent days.

Met Éireann has said that some showery rain will develop in places, with the driest conditions in the southeast.

Top temperatures will range between 15°C and 20°C in light southerly or variable breezes.

On Friday night, it will be mostly cloudy and close, with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Some patches of mist and fog are also forecast.

Temperatures on Friday night will reach lows of 9°C to 11°C, with light southerly breezes veering southwest.

Saturday

It will be mostly cloudy to begin on Saturday, with patchy drizzle dying out and low cloud and mist lifting to give a few brighter intervals.

Further showery rain is forecast to develop in places through the afternoon and evening. Saturday will have highs of 12°C to 17°C and it will be warmest in the east and south in light to moderate westerly breezes.

Met Éireann has said that Saturday night will bring showers or longer spells of rain, with lows of 5°C to 8°C.

Sunday

Easter Sunday will bring some showery rain at times, but occasional drier and brighter intervals too.

Maximum temperatures will be closer to average for this time of year at 13°C to 15°C, with a northeast breeze setting in.

Next week

Current indications from Met Éireann suggest that Monday will be a cooler day, with moderate to fresh and gusty east to northeast winds.

The day will be mainly dry with sunny periods, with maximum temperatures ranging from 10°C in the northeast to 14°C in the southwest.

Monday night will be cold with clear spells and some frost is likely.

Tuesday and Wednesday next week look set to be mainly dry with sunny spells. It will be a little milder, though nights will be cool with some mist and fog and ground frost.
