A status yellow wind warning has been issued by Met Éireann for counties Donegal, Galway and Mayo.

West to southwest winds of 50km/h to 65km/h are forecast, with gusts of 90km/h to 100km/h.

There is a continued risk of coastal flooding around the period of high tides.

The warning will remain in place from 10pm on Tuesday 14 January to 6pm on Wednesday 15 January.

Southeast

This follows an earlier wind warning for the southeastern counties of Wexford and Waterford, which is due to die out at 3pm on Tuesday 14 January.
